“Paid over $1,700 to fix kitchen lights. All failed shortly after and additional lights stopped working, and follow-up has been poor.
I hired this company to repair my kitchen lights. The technician said the issue was faulty wiring and replaced 3 of the kitchen lights, (I thought all were going to be replaced).
A few days after the tech “fixed” them, all kitchen lights went out again plus both a laundry room light and a patio light—which had been working perfectly before the visit—were no longer working.
I contacted the company and they sent the technician back. On the return visit, the patio light was fixed and the kitchen lights were “restored”, but now one of the kitchen lights went out again and the laundry room light is still not working.
I was told the problems were due to faulty wiring and that better results would have required purchasing a more comprehensive service or a yearly maintenance plan, which would have been an additional $1,000. That was not explained as necessary when the original work was done.
Since then, I have left messages by text and phone requesting follow-up and have not received a response.
I expected the original issue to be resolved or clearly explained. Instead, I’m left with unresolved lights, added costs suggested after the fact, and poor communication.
