“** Be careful with Jessica Aguilar My experience: I went to this dealer to purchase a car and discussed the pricing with them. The sales team told me they would speak with the owner and get back to me. The next day, I received a call from Jessica Aguilar (salesperson) stating that they agreed to the deal. I was very delighted, so I obtained a cashier’s check in the dealer’s name and headed to the dealership. However, when I arrived, they increased the price of the car by $3,000 and tried to make me pay extra. It was one of the worst days of my life. I had taken time off work and driven 75 miles to pick up the car, only to end up extremely disappointed.”

“On January 2, I took my car to Honda for paint protection. I believe the advisor’s name was Brandon. He told me that my sun visor needed to be replaced and that it would be covered under warranty. He said he would order the part so it would be ready at my next visit. After leaving the dealership that day, I noticed my gas tank was empty, even though it was full when I brought the car in. On January 17, I returned because the car was making a noise when braking. I had a 7:00 a.m. appointment and chose to wait instead of leaving the car. I mentioned the gas issue to Johnny, but he told me that couldn’t be true and implied that I was lying. No customer should ever be treated that way—especially after waiting four hours. I was also told that I needed about $1,000 worth of services, but that I would have to bring the car back because they did not have the parts. This included the brakes, which they said needed replacement but could not be repaired at that time. To make matters worse, my sun visor was never replaced. When I returned, I was told I would now have to pay for it out of pocket—even though I was originally told it would be covered under warranty. Overall, this experience was frustrating and disappointing. I don’t feel confident in the service I received, and I will not be returning.”

But then my wife came to Phx - drove it - and said it was too small - so a month later here I am again! “I contacted Bell Honda through Cars.com on Friday, December 26, regarding a used 2023 Chevy Malibu. In my initial message, I was very clear that I wanted to confirm the vehicle’s availability and receive an out the door price quote via email. On Saturday, December 27, I received a response from Efren. He sent me a walk-around video of the vehicle, confirmed it was still available, and asked for my phone number so we could discuss next steps. I replied by email and explained that I was shopping for a vehicle for my daughter and wanted Bell Honda’s best out the door price sent to me by email. I also explained that I was contacting multiple dealerships and that once I felt comfortable with the pricing, I would move forward with coming in person to see the vehicle. Efren responded that he could put together the numbers, but continued to insist that I either come in person or call him. I replied again and reiterated that all I needed was the out the door price. I also stated plainly that if Bell Honda wanted to earn my business, providing the information I requested would be a good start. After that, communication stopped completely. Fast forward to today, December 29. I called Bell Honda and spoke with a woman in the used car sales department. I explained the situation and told her I was actively shopping for a vehicle for my daughter and had already requested pricing with no response. She looked up my profile and assured me that the out the door price would be emailed to me within minutes. It is now nearly the end of the day, and I still have not received a quote. What baffles me is how some dealerships continue to play games. I have purchased my last five vehicles entirely through email negotiation. When I went into those dealerships, I test drove the car, finalized paperwork, and was in and out in under two hours. If a dealership cannot provide a simple out the door price after multiple requests, that tells me everything I need to know. I will be taking my business elsewhere.”
