At 2230 on 22 December 2025, I had a toilet overflow, resulting in about an inch of water in four rooms. Mauricio - Supervisor, Christian, Bryan and Gerson were on my doorstep within the hour. They spent the next four hours clearing water, disinfecting, removing baseboards, stripping flooring, cutting and removing drywall and sills, setting up dozens of driers, fans and dehumidifiers, etc., not to mention all the moving of furniture and boxes during the entire course of the job.
A few hours later, Todd - Project Manager, was here to meet with me and my insurance adjuster. His coordination efforts, to include chasing down flooring samples, ensuring prompt debris removal and scheduling with George - Estimator, merely streamlined an already efficient operation.
Cody - Inspector, Inspected the site twice to ensure all treatments were applied and effective.
Back at the office, Emma - Girl Friday, provided expert coordination and liaison between all departments, including Janae - mitigation, my insurance adjuster and me. Her professionalism, conscientiousness and upbeat disposition were a godsend throughout this whole ordeal.
The restoration was completed two weeks earlier than originally expected. I am overjoyed with the final result and would highly recommend the services of Zeus Restoration. I will definitely call again should I ever have such another catastrophe.
In addition, I would like to praise the cabinetmaking department. They had to construct something to match all the other cabinetry in my house. It does. Perfectly.

My husband and I are disabled United States veterans, and we selected Zeus Restoration during an emergency water loss based on a recommendation received when no insurance adjuster was immediately available. During what was already a stressful situation, we expected professionalism, transparency, and respectful collaboration. Unfortunately, our documented experience raised significant concerns regarding communication practices, workmanship, and billing accuracy.
Throughout the mitigation process, we provided clear homeowner directives regarding what work was authorized inside our home. Despite this, a technician proceeded to cut into and remove our custom closet system after we specifically requested that it remain intact so it could be properly disassembled. This resulted in damage that, from our perspective, could have been avoided. Statements were also made suggesting that insurance would cover certain actions, which created confusion given that contractors are not responsible for determining coverage decisions.
Communication with the front office was particularly concerning. Discussions often felt adversarial rather than collaborative. We experienced repeated interruptions, raised voices during conversations, and responses that did not acknowledge or take accountability for the concerns we raised. At times, our documented evidence — including video footage — appeared to be minimized or dismissed rather than objectively reviewed.
As homeowners navigating water mitigation for the first time, we expected guidance and education. Instead, we felt pressured to make rapid decisions under statements implying potential negligence if we did not proceed as advised. This added unnecessary stress during an already challenging situation.
We also identified multiple billing discrepancies that required correction only after we brought them forward, including charges initially listed for work that was not performed. Heavy extraction services were billed; however, the carpet remained heavily saturated afterward. The following morning, we personally removed significant amounts of water ourselves using a carpet shampooer, and this process — including multiple buckets of extracted water — is documented on video. Additionally, furniture was left sitting in standing water without protective blocks despite requests.
After terminating services and hiring an independent restoration contractor, we were informed that approximately 98% of the affected areas were already dry, with one remaining area left incomplete. This raised additional questions for us regarding the necessity of continued equipment usage that had previously been recommended.
For additional clarity, we retained a third-party adjuster to independently review the mitigation scope and pricing. Based on their review, we were informed that their assessment of the work would have resulted in a lower payable amount than what was ultimately issued by our insurance carrier. This further contributed to our concerns regarding the overall billing and scope.
While some administrative communication was professional, many core issues — including property damage and disputed billing items — remain unresolved despite extensive written correspondence, photographs, video documentation, and third-party review.
As veterans, integrity, accountability, and respect are values we take seriously. Based on our experience, we encourage prospective customers to carefully review all available feedback and consider patterns across both positive and negative reviews before making a decision.
Based on our documented experience, we cannot recommend Zeus Restoration.
