We woke up on the weekend to a busted pipe in the ceiling of our finished basement. We had a plumber come out on a Saturday on short notice to repair and stop the leak, but unfortunately, we needed immediate water remediation. They were kind to refer a company to assist. Property Medics called Us on a Sunday to schedule an assessment and Claude Smith came out the same afternoon to look at it. He called in a crew immediately to begin the demo work to expose the wet area so we would not incur any mold issues. This crew did a fabulous job! Particularly, Zach Vasquez and his assistant, Cris, arrived at 4:20 pm and stayed until the work was completed at 9:30 pm, on a Sunday night! They could not have been sweeter or more courteous and professional. What nice young men; they worked diligently and thoroughly, communicating every step of the way on what they were doing and why it was necessary. Claude and Zach showed exemplary work ethic and commitment to their jobs and we felt very protected in the oversight of an unfortunate event. Thank you Property Medics! Jermaine Davis was punctual and extremely professional. He made sure that I understood everything going on with my property and did an excellent job with prepping and securing the affected areas. We had a leak in our third floor bathroom, which affected our downstairs dining room and kitchen ceilings. Jermaine is definitely a class act and someone I would refer. Thanks for giving me and my family a pleasurable experience. Price assessment Not sure Services Water damage-related cleanup & repair

Property Medics of Georgia was recommended by my home insurance. Wesley was sent to my home for Mitigation treatment. He carefully approached my situation, explained the process to me and started the work. He removed my most part of my floor carpet and then set up his humidifier in the area. I was pleased with his work so far. I would definitely recommend Property Medics of Georgia for anyone in need of Mitigation services.

This is the start of my review of my experience with property medics. My problem was a leak in my kitchen behind the refrigerator, which turned out to be a faulty shut off valve for the icemaker. I contacted my insurance agent, State Farm and they referred me to property medics for restoration. I called them and spoke with Amber and she was able to get project manager Adrian to come out immediately. He was also able to start the process while he was here of taking readings and checking how bad the leak was and how far it had spread. The next day the plumber showed up and replace the valve and the demolition crew showed up which consisted of Zack and Zion who works diligently all day and late into the evening around 7:30 PM to finish the demolition of the flooring and set up drying equipment. They also worked in the basement where the leak had spread to the insulation and ceiling tiles. They removed, and carried all damage materials outside in a professional manner, they cleaned up as they went and did an excellent job. They were very conscientious and polite all day long. So far I would highly recommend them especially Zach and Zion. They are hard workers and very very efficient. I will continue my post on the remainder of the journey.

7-9-24: Updating this review from 1-star to 3-star, and may update it again later. The owner of Property Medics and a manager reached out to apologize for what happened while they were both away on vacation. (See earlier review below.) They are involved now and working to get the repairs/restoration back on track. Will update this review as things proceed and are resolved. Original 1-star review: The water hose that connects to my icemaker in my refrigerator failed and leaked water onto the hardwood flooring in my kitchen. The plumber I called to repair the leak recommended Property Medics of GA to dry out the drywall behind the refrigerator. They came that same day and pressured me to sign a bunch of paperwork letting them handle everything. A day or so later, a mitigation team came out and ripped out a large section of the wood flooring in my kitchen. They insisted that my kitchen desk needed to be removed, too. I expressed concern about it being removed and was told by the mitigation workers that the drawers and granite top were being saved and the desk would be rebuilt back just as it was. Their project manager, Remy, contacted me to schedule the rebuilding/repair process. Rather than attempt to put all the pieces of the desk back together, Remy stated they would have their custom cabinet builder rebuild it, and that he would be able to reuse the granite and drawer fronts so everything would still match my existing kitchen. Today, just two days later, I get an email from their office saying "We have some news that is not favorable." The email said, "Our cabinet maker is no longer in the business. I know how important the cabinet is to you, unfortunately, we no longer have a contact that can fulfil the need to rebuild the cabinet." No phone call, just an email bailing on my job right in the middle of everything. The email went on to say that it was their understanding that I would be using my painter for painting the repaired drywall so they wouldn't be able to do that repair either since their drywaller does both the drywall and the painting. Note: Remy and I never discussed painting so that was a complete lie and probably some kind of excuse for bailing in the middle of the job. I called Remy, he didn't answer and never returned my call. I asked to speak to the owner. I was told James, the "second in command" would call me since the owner is out of the country on vacation. He called and I could tell from the tone in his voice that he could not care less about my situation. He said the team that came to my home and tore everything out and said it would be rebuilt as before, were part of their mitigation team and don't really know about rebuilding. He made excuses for Remy's misstatement that I'd be using my own painter, saying it "must have just been a misunderstanding." When I told James that there was no misunderstanding and that we never even discussed the painting of the repaired areas, he laughed out loud which made me wonder if someone was in his office with him and now they were making fun of me for being upset over how they were bailing in the middle of my job. This company will come into your home when you are at your most vulnerable, they will promise to restore things as they were before, then they will proceed to tear your cabinetry, flooring and walls apart, putting large holes in the flooring, ceiling, and walls, while promising to fix it all back to the way it was. But when it comes time to do the restoration, they will send you an email bailing on the work, leaving you high and dry. I do not understand how a company like this stays in business! They've promised to return the 60% up front that they demanded before making the repairs. I am waiting on the refund. I now have the job of finding a custom cabinet maker who is willing to try and put my desk back together, and a drywaller and painter to make all the other repairs. I wish someone had warned me about this dishonest, unprofessional, uncaring company.
